Scouting America Troop 36 and Cub Pack 36 are both proudly chartered by American Legion, Post 17!
Even though we have been part of the Post since 2022, we have a long history of helping with Post activities and honoring Veterans.
Since 2005, we have helped with the annual Veterans Day breakfast. We place grave marker Flags at Morningside Cemetery every May. We also participate in the Memorial Day program; at Morningside.
Outside of Post activities, we participate in the Community Day parade, hold “ Scouting for Food “ drives every year, and participate in the DuBois Veterans Day program.
Of course, we do all the fun Scouting activities too! Camping, merit badges, bike rides, first aid, etc. The list is almost endless!
